Ezekiel Elliot Suspension... 6 Games? Another failed "investigation" by the Commissioner

Friday, August 11, 2017 the day the NFL, announced its decision into its year-long investigation, into the Dallas Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliot. This investigation was primarily launched in regards to a domestic violence claim against Elliot, by his Ex-Girlfriend Tiffany Thompson.

This decision by the league, deservedly so created a extreme reaction by anyone who follows the Dallas Cowboys. Deservedly so, the evidence was not enough for even the state of Ohio's police station to convict Elliot of anything.

Yes, domestic violence is a serious offence, and does require disciplinary action there is no argument against that. Anyone who disagrees needs to attend a civil rights class as soon as possible.

The state of Ohio was unable to find anything which can accuse Elliot of anything, but what did the commissioner and the NFL find that not even the police could find? Well nothing. As the NFL is allowed to pass down their own disciplinary action rightfully so. It has to be fair towards ALL players or the system is flawed.

For example, the precedent of a case last year in 2016 when the New York Giants kicker Josh Brown was convicted of violence. He was punished with a ONE game suspension, even with tape of the incident of the abuse.

In terms of Elliot there is nothing but hearsay, and testimonies and with the limited evidence which is accessible at this time for the public such as this picture, which shows the evidence passed down to the NFL by Elliot's representatives;

I believe there is not sufficient evidence to accuse Elliot and to uphold this six game suspension. And starting August 15, 2017 the appeal process will begin and his suspension will likely be reduced or getting rid of. If neither is to happen this failure of a decision will likely create a big up haul of change to the NFL via Jerry Jones.
