NBA First Round Predictions (As of today March 21, 2019)

Good morning and evening to all of my readers today. This article is covering the rest of the NBA Playoffs first round predictions from me. Yes, i know it is extremely late and most of the series are very well decided, but i still thought i should give my thoughts on the series that are still going strong, even if they are just a couple.

Eastern Conference

Boston Celtics v. Indiana Pacers (4-0)

As of today, this series has been completed but i had the Pacers winning at least one game.

Toronto Raptors v. Orlando Magic (3-1)

The raptors took a commanding lead today with Kawhi showing up everywhere around the court with a dominating performance all-around 34pts-6reb-2ast-2blk while shooting 60 percent from the field!
But it was great watching Aaron Gordon in this game he was a great offensive performer and is growing into being a Blake Griffin sort of player. I believe this series ends in five games, on Tuesday night in Toronto.

Milwaukee Bucks v. Detroit Pistons (3-0)

I had the Bucks in four, at the beginning of the series, and it looks like that prediction will come to fruition. The Bucks looks like the best NBA team in the league this year, as their record suggests. they are the real deal, legitimate contenders and are showing why websites like, basketball-reference gave them higher odds than the warriors to win the finals. I really wished Blake Griffin played a few more games though would have been a better watch.

Philadelphia 76ers v. Brooklyn Nets (3-1)

My Prediction was Philadelphia in six games. Looks like they will wrap it up in five games, this was i believe the best series in the east this year. Unfortunate ending for the Nets in game four. Joel Embiid is too much too handle for the Nets big's as it has clearly shown throughout this series.

Western Conference

Golden State Warriors v. Los Angeles Clippers (3-1)

I believe the warriors end it in game five, and get ready to play Houston in the second round. Big shout out to the Clippers the fight they presented was admirable but the talent disparity is too far.

Denver Nuggets v. San Antonio Spurs (2-2)

Spurs win this series in seven games, Nuggets are far more talented than the spurs but the spurs have the experience and Popovich has shown that he set players like even Derrick White for success to take this series from Denver.

Houston Rockets v. Utah Jazz (3-0)

Rockets take it in four, if the Jazz cannot beat the Rockets with Harden shooting 15 percent from the field they do not have the firepower to keep up with Houston simple.

Portland Trail Blazers v. Oklahoma City Thunder (3-1)

Blazers in seven, they just have more shooting prowess than the Thunder and the way that Paul George is shooting the duo of Westbrook and George have shown they cannot score this series consistently with Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum.
